Popular bands you don't like

I "appreciate" Springsteen and the E Street Band, especially for the passion they put in their music and concerts. One of the best songwriters ever.

That said, never really been a huge fan either.

Weird. His lyrics are why I don't like him.

I'm on board with the Led Zeppelin distaste. I don't hate them. I can appreciate what they brought to the industry. I just don't care for them. There are only a handful of songs I'd play.

While Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite rock band, I could see why some might not dig his voice.
On the he other hand, I don't see why someone would hate U2. They are so unoffensive and adult contempo.

Wait, what?

I'm not that familiar with his entire body of work, but a lot of his hits seem to be the kind of song about the small town guy, working at the mill, in love with a girl, etc....anybody can write that ****.

Anybody can write ABOUT that ****, not everyone can do it well. Rosalita, Thunder Road, Born to Run and a whole hand full of other songs prove that. I'm not a fan boy who thinks he can do no wrong (see The River) but the man can most definitely write a song.

I forgot about the Beatles. Can't stand them and was always told it was blasphemy. John Lennon, yes, based alone on "Give Peace a Chance" but Yellow Submarine? Strawberry Fields?
Just turrible nursery rhyme sounding songs. And Paul McCartney. Can't watch him for 5 seconds.

I don't know you anymore.

Rush
Kiss
The Who
Grateful Dead (outside of just being hammered and liking one song at 2 am in '92)
Judas Priest
and last but not least, effing REM. Erybody liked them and I thought they flat out sucked. I was listening to LL cool j instead

Agree with Kiss, Judas Priest and REM. Especially don't understand Judas Priest popularity.
