Whatever. If you don’t think banks got outcoached at UGA and Ohio st you’re ignorant.Buzz words to appease the masses. Most of which are stupid. You’ll never hear it in an actual conversation. But if you need to feel like you’re part of the conversation and can’t discuss it intelligently then have at it.
Way below 83?We are way below 83 players. Can’t keep losing more than adding. Our WR room and OL room is embarrassing. Our OL development is poor with bad coaching. But our coach seems to think Elarbee is good. This roster is slowly getting worse. No imagination on offense and Heupel is one calling plays.
Do we know for sure the coaches are not panicking? And even if they were, would they show it publicly?I'd like to know what the coaches are thinking right now with so many players hitting the portal. We still have plenty of time to add bodies, if we can find guys we actually want, so I know they're not panicking or anything, but I do wonder how surprised they are by the exodus. Especially someone like Squirrel, who they've given every opportunity to. I just don't see the young man being as big a factor in another program. I could be wrong. We'll see. I just don't see him as a game breaker.
Hell, Pena wouldn't be my first choice, but he produces and that includes tonight. 5 catches for 70 yards and 2 TDs, plus 2 carries for 32 yards.Quality WRs on remaining bowl teams. Hope a couple enter the portal.
Texas Tech:
Caleb Douglas (Jr) 55 for 762, 6 TDs
Coy Eakin (RS Soph): 45 for 605, 6 TDs
Syracuse:
Trebor Pena (RS Jr): 79 for 871, 7 TDs
UCONN:
Skyler Bell (RS Jr): 47 for 783, 4 TDs
BC:
Reed Harris (RS Fr): 15 for 470, 4 TDs
Louisiana:
Harvey Broussard (Soph): 31 for 486, 3 TDs
TCU:
Eric McAlister (RS Jr): 31 for 675, 4 TDs
Washington:
Denzel Boston (Soph): 60 for 808, 9 TDs
Baylor:
Josh Cameron (RS Jr): 44 for 653, 9 TDs
Texas State:
Kole Wilson (Jr): 43 for 630, 4 TDs
Buffalo:
Victor Snow (RS Soph): 51 for 610, 6 TDs
Give me Boston and Peña.
Harris seems like a fast kid as well.
Actually after looking at it again, I think that’s right. We’ll probably have to get Bishop on scholarship imo though as well. Here is Larry’s thread in case I made a mistake or something changes. Karic and Kitselman should be back imo. I don’t think anyone we’ve lost really hurts us badly. Kitselman being back is huge.So Kalib Perry is 82?
Faizon will be the one who hoists the Natty in KnoxvilleI think Jake is gonna keep Gmac off the field and then Brandon is gonna take over. Gmac is gonna have to beat out a bigger, stronger, older QB with a full year more experience in the system...and like Gmac, Jake is a pretty dang good athlete scrambling/running as well. Has a strong arm too. Surprised Gmac came here honestly. Regardless, if they both hang around for 2 more years then the QB1 competition for 2027 is gonna be crazy. Jake with 3 years practice, Gmac with 2, and Faizon with a full year under his belt. Our QB room is gonna be as good as any in the country for the next 3 or 4 years regardless. Even if 1 of those guys decides to leave, we are set at QB through at least 2028. Love it.
