I think his play when on the field shows his potential to take the next step. Loves the way he blocks. He can make plays. He has a clear path. He should stay

So the word is MM has gone dark on this staff....... Haven't seen it mentioned by reputable sources but if that's the case he already has his deal and his mind is made up.

This sucks and makes our lack of portal activity for that position particularly concerning. You'd expect your position coach to have some idea if there were issues with your players this deep seeded.

If a kid went silent on me and wouldn’t respond until they all of a sudden got a renegotiated deal, I think I’d start to ******g hate that kid lol. Pope needs to be replaced. Elarbee either needs to be replaced or an assistant that can develop players and teach pass blocking needs to be hired.

Even if everything comes completely off the rails, and I don't think that's likely, Heupel is our coach at least until we get off probation. Let's just hope there's a plan. I really hope Heupel understands his offensive staff needs a shakeup.

Where there's smoke there is fire. The NIL era was always going to be crazy.... But when you're a team fresh off the playoffs and primed to compete......... and you start losing pieces that should start next year, there are problems........ No way around that.

OSU went 11-2 last year and would’ve been in a 12 team playoff (11-1 during reg season) and they lost a sh*t ton off last year’s team. They could just afford to bc they’ve recruited top 5 for eternity.

It’s not the end of the world. Just gonna sit back and see how it shakes out.

This is not a “TN issue!”

I think it was Oklahoma who has over 20 players in the portal. Unfortunately, coaches and the collectives must re-recruit those on the roster every season. Plus, they just talk to the agents and/or handlers. In some cases, the coaches and Collectives are not communicating with the player. It’s crazy and I don’t like it. But it’s here.

It’s almost as if the position coaches for WR and OL are not cut out for their roles. Under both we’ve only seen real contributions from Pruitt players and portal players. Squirrel is the exception and he’s leaving too.
