Wrong. @MoCo_Vol claimed, "So WR room which we all agreed was one of the weakest groups."

However, that was NOT what most of you thought before the season (or even well into the season). Most of you claimed our WR room was a strength of the team. Now that our WR's got shown up by OSU, you guys are trying to rewrite history (revisionist history) by claiming that everyone always agreed that our WR corp was weak.

Many of you severely misjudged the talent of our WR room, and now you guys are trying to act like you always knew it was a weakness. That is revisionist history.

You’re adding “before the season” and “even into the season”

I already clarified I’m looking at final season production.

How do you reconcile him being mad about PT, and the timing of his decision to enter? Sure that may have been a factor, but not the deciding factor.
No one knows about the timing,
But didn’t AP or Hubbs say it’s more about PT.

I’m sure it’s not the only factor but yeah it may be the deciding factor.

Money was always gonna be a factor, other teams gonna enquire, it’s a given.

But you lose trust or confidence in your coach and your likely gonna take the outside money over the inside money.

If you’re happy and feel you’ve been treated fairly I’d say it’s the opposite.

This time last year Stewart was too expensive and his ‘want to’ and love of football was questioned. He had other interests outside of football where he made money like social media. These were said as reasons why we didn’t really pursue.

I guess our situation now is different as we’re pretty desperate, but Stewart would be surprising imo.

We already had Brazell committed at the time Stewart entered. And we probably didn't want to risk losing guys to the portal.

It's interesting to me that we aren't seeing the same drama from Staley in regards to playing time, money, coaching, or whatever else people are convinced is the issue with Matthews...

I think Staley AND a couple of the freshmen WR have the talent to be really explosive in this offense. Dodson has elite quickness and is overlooked because he is a 3* on most services. The other 2 freshman are really good too. Theres just so much more that goes into being a productive WR at UT. From handling their business everyday like adults, to studying the playbook, to reading coverage and making the right decisions on what routes to run...it takes a lot more than just talent.

Staley and all 3 freshmen have SEC talent. Time will tell if they have the discipline, drive, and smarts to succeed at a high level though.
