10 games...not just 7 catches. Yes, playing in 10 games in an SEC schedule is different than not playing at all. Totally different feel as a competitor. Does that mean Mike is automatically head and shoulders above? Not necessarily, but that game experience is important.
In how many of those 10 games did he actually log plays at WR versus special teams? MM himself felt it was so valuable, he was considering leaving.

No matter how many games he played in, his production was exceptionally negligible.

No back in the 90s but just saying "don't look at a player because they go to UTC" is not a great plan for success. Sam Phillips may not be great but he had 5 catches for 54 yrds against us this season and could provide a depth option.

In 3 seasons 153 catches for 2088 yards and 9 TDs. 13+ yards per catch isn't too shabby. Better in every category than Squirrel albeit against lesser competition

We can (and better) do better.

I don’t know. But as a competitor, it makes a difference. Butterflies in your stomach…real game feel…reacting to being hit and where to be on the field.

He played (and scored) in the entire game that we had to win to make the playoffs. He played when it was still up in the air. Yes, real game experience. I don’t give a flip about production. It makes a difference.

Agree. lol.

Hubbs and AP weren’t aware that NY Eve was considered a holiday, too. So this gave Stan until 5pm today to enter paperwork. Crazy!

This proves nobody knew a dam$ thing about the situation- only speculation.

Especially me! 😝

Glad he’s staying. So we have Brazzell, Matthews, Staley and two tight ends. I still want an elite athlete with burner speed to go to the house on any given play or over the top.

7 catches, 90 yards for the entire season. He was a nonfactor at WR that mostly saw the field on special teams. Hopefully he has real production in 2025 along with AJ at WR.

One of the biggest sec homers. Havent watched the sec network programming in a long time b/c of the homerism. Its funny watching people from afar that are clearly bias & compromised. He beat his chest via x (formerly twitter) when the sec wins and radio silent when they lose.

I posted the other day that if all Volnation.com members contributed $10 per month to the Vol Club then that would add more than $6 million a year to the NIL total. I currently contribute $100 per month, but am fortunate to be able to do, but $10 per month is not that much.

I prefer the lump sum method.
