Lol I was just telling my girlfriend (uga alum) that I thought he should probably be the starter. Shows how little I know! Hopefully Stockton doesn’t get any better and they are without a competent qb next year.

I thought he exceeded all expectations by a mile (while uga fans around us wanted his head - he was 7/8 for 100 at that point lol), but chalking it up to nd letting him do it to not get beat with the run. The dropped deep ball to bell was perfect.

Surely they pick up a portal QB with experience. Stockton definitely ain't it. But unless Ewers or the ASU QB go to the portal, I'm not sure where you find an experienced QB that's any good

However, I LOVE we get UGA in week 3, Neyland at night. Perfect. Stockton or whoever won't be ready for that.

And wide open. It's not hard to hit someone wide open. It's much harder to fit it into tighter windows.

The throw to Smith down the sideline was legitimately a good throw though. But he threw it low or behind several receivers vs ND. Definitely a game manager type of QB. And that's ok as long as you have excellent skill players for him to get the ball too. But UGA doesn't have that, and they aren't likely to find anyone now.

When will 5 star QBs learn that UGA is where they go to ride the bench? Smart has no desire in playing the best players at QB. He just wants someone to manage the game and not make turnovers. I'm actually surprised he stuck with Beck as long as he did this year. But I suppose it would be a bad look to bench him

I wouldn’t be shocked to see Kirby quit sooner than later.
