Yet they took us to overtime at HOME the beginning of the year without Lagway and have gotten a ton of additional talent via the portal and recruiting since then. They are beginning to get their act together, which is scary, see wins against LSU, Ole Miss, and spanking Tulane in the bowl.

I could have sworn Lagway threw the TD pass that sent that game into OT. Perhaps that was Mertz throwing it from the bench.

Why some of you guys continue to feed, call out, or try to reason with trolls like "volinbama256" is beyond me. Listen to JacketVol and put him on ignore.
I now only have to see his nonsense when someone else quotes it which is annoying enough!

LOL, I'm a troll because I don't drink the orange koolaid and call it out when it needs to be called out. I am a two degree grad from UT, that's had season tickets, shared box seats, etc, give to the collective, but want to see us take the next step and become elite because I actually think Heup can do it if he and Danny decide to take the proper uncomfortable steps to get there.

Ignorance is bliss, you have fun enjoying a nice season and a bowl game, that's fine and that's your prerogative, but I'd like to see us get elite because we are so close and have been in the ditch for the past 15yrs... this is the closest we've come to getting back on top and IMO we just need to do several more things to get there.

Would there honestly be any we’d want to take? WR core sucks, rbs arent going anywhere-even if they do they’d go somewhere where they’d be the feature guy, #44 is nfl bound, defense I dont think theyd lose anyone unless it’s depth or nfl

Lagway gonna have to improve in a big way. 12 TD / 9 INT. Makes a lot of bad decisions.

I’ve been under the impression here that you shouldn’t expect players to improve year to year which is why we need everyone from the portal.

I pretty much said similar in another post. I think our best chances reside with whoever loses tonight, so, Texas. And then after OSU wins it all, maybe they'll have some of that depth hit the portal.

The missing of wide open receivers is far more concerning than the drops and our oline isn’t going to magically fix itself

I also found it interesting that guys like Ryan Williams(7 drops), Tre Harris(5 drops in 8 games), and Kyren Lacy(6 drops) were on that list. Also, Juice Wells had as many drops as Chris Brazzell(6), who was our only guy on the list.

Between VQ and our insiders, seems like we've been told we're looking for at least 4 more guys. Maybe that's down to 3 if Bru comes back. But we've been told a RB, WR, OG, and DT. Other than Prego at OG, I have no idea who we're seriously looking at. I hate waiting.
