The guy he’s talking about is very accurate, has given spot on UTBB and UTFB recruiting and team info for over a year.

At this point and time teams cannot give incentive laden deals for players. Deals are very one sided to the players advantage.

I think the people around Nico are probably ticked off this got out and are now trying to do damage control.

In the end, I think it ends up being a nothing burger and Nico is our QB1 in the fall, but a lot of people won’t forget this if he doesn’t play to his potential this fall

Agree. Folks need to realize Nakos (on3) main goal is to sell subscriptions, thus the more rumors (labeled as inside info), the more it increases subscribers and feeds the nega’s Vol “fans”.

The last couple of players that tried to use the media to create pressure has failed. Starting CB and now QB1. Maybe the tide is turning against the players from a fan perspective. No more chicken little reactions, instead it's a negative thing for it to get out for the player.

This didn't come from Tennessee, they don't want this out there and they aren't ahead of the game to notice that the tide is turning. That'd have been a huge risk at this point. It came from Nicos camp imo, whether it was pops or agent. Likely agent.

theres a lot to know here. Either Pete is a liar or nicos family are. there’s not a fan base out there that doesn’t have a minority that act out. Not just VN. It would be nice if an insider came in here ( but we don’t anymore) and either say yes or no.

Nakos doesn't put his pretty much entire reputation on the line for a completely fake story. Now is it possible some of what he was told was incorrect? Absolutely possible.

But those national guys (Ari Wasserman has come out today and said something today too) don't put their reputation on the line just for clickbait.

Yeah that’s true as well. Pete did call nico dad and he denied any such thing. At that point he has to decide who he believes more. He trusted his source and put his name to the article. That is essentially.
He put an article saying one thing while being told it was false. That would be a lie.
