Shelley will be fine in a couple of weeks from what I hear. Nothing major.

What exactly was wrong with him? If anything he has the best name for a star WR....Slick Shelley

McNeil will be the starting center. Pope got some reps at center, but I suspect he will play all positions.

Don't forget Frogg, he could also start at center.

Sears - LT
Ligon - LG
McNeil or Frogg - C
Foster - RG
Young - RT

With Ligon at guard, does that mean that Frogg may get the start at C? Who did they say got reps at C yesterday?
I didn't forget... and what HV had said was in response to my question about Frogg. :p

You just posted that to show me that Frogg at center has already been discussed didn't you?

The staff really wants McNeil to start at C, but , if he can't, Frogg will and McNeil will play significant minutes.

I'd also have Parker starting over Foster. Parker had a way better spring and offseason. He lost his target weight and is in great shape. Foster isn't in bad shape, but he didn't lose the weight asked of him to lose.

I think that we would all like to see McNeil step up and claim the center position. It would certainly help a lot.

I think we have the potential to have an outstanding starting 5 in a couple years with:

LT-Chris Scott
LG-Cody Pope
C-Josh McNeil
RG-Jacques McLendon
RT-Ramone Johnson

If things go even halfway decent this year, 2007 is looking really good to me.

I just read where McClendon was going crazy in the weight room. Said he's benching 525 and squatting 600. They say he has his eye on a bunch of weight room records.

Yeah, that just depends on Adkins. It looks like we have the OL in the best physical shape that it's been in years. We have the talent. Adkins and Fulmer just need to get a nasty streak into this OL and make sure the technique is up to par.

Yup, it is amazing as most major schools hope for a couple players benching 500+ and we have 6 that could potentially do it. If McLendon keeps it up, he could be squatting 750+ and benching 650+ though I'm sure he'll hit a wall eventually.

So how much involvement will CPF have with the OL? OL play will be the key for a successful season this year....we have got to move the ball on the ground this season.

hv, your contributions to the board warrant a better avatar than a slim red x.

LOL, yeah, I had a pic of Duke Crews slapping the top of the box but I don't know what happened.

I think CPF will play a significant role in the development of the OL this year. I think he may play as big a role as Adkins will, at least for this year.

I suggest a contest, much like hatvol's, where hv provides the winner with some sweet tickets. But, that's just me.

I see... this is where the whole thing was going in the first place, since you're the one that brought it up.

A pic of Bayless would be sweet, but very few would understand it.

Yeah, let's do a contest like hat's, except the winner in this contest will provide me with the sweet tickets.
