Possibility of Fulmer to Vandy

Yea, what about the guy at Montana State or whatever. They have been pretty good over the last several years. Not Phil though.:nono:

North Dakota state? I would say call the guy who got famous for his video game playbook resume.

Has anyone else heard any noise about Fulmer interviewing or wanting to interview for the Vandy HC position?

Sorry if I'm late to the party, merge wherever necessary if so. I just spoke with a well known (in the Nashville area) and connected Vandy alum who said "Fulmer would love nothing more than to be Vandy's HC."

He's playing you for a fool.

Doubt he's being considered at all, and I really doubt he'd even take the job, if offered.

Vandy's AD said 20-25 people have reached out to be considered for the position. I have a hard time believing that, even with the program's recent success.

You find it hard to believe that 20-25 people would reach out to a school who is going to pay 2-3 million dollars a year to it's football coach? Most schools give a five year contract these days with a nice buyout. Surprised more haven't reached out. Take away your hatred for a rival, Vandy's reputation etc... If someone were a coordinator or lower level coach making low 6 figures and could go to making 2-3 million and move to Nashville, who wouldn't apply?

Well it was at a business meeting around 10AM or so, highly doubt he'd been drinking. Blowing smoke up my ass on the other hand....that's why I was asking if anyone had heard anything legitimate.

You say this as if drinking before 10 am is a bad thing.

I know, why is that a bad thing :toast:

anyway,CPF is one of the true Vols for life,I am assuming that he is in a comfortable place in his life and probably isn't going to coach again, which is sad for UT
