I'm sensing some Smith confusion...

They were saying a mix of Ramar Smith and Jajuan.. Makin jokes.. I get he meant Murderer- Ramar, and drug dealer Jajuan cause his marijuana incident. Was I wrong ?

Jajuan was a class act while at UT IMO.

I was meaning drug dealing Ramar as well.

I took Jajuan's contribution to be that of 3-pt shooter.

Another interesting note about Hickey, is he's from Hopkinsville, Ky. Which is where Scotty Hopson is from.

I believe that Jones will wind up in Jr College next year, so our #1 priority should be a point Guard who plays good defense and can do the 3 d's. Drive, Dish, and Dunk [or score]

We have not had good Point Play since CJ Watson.

A fabulous city, known for its water park, the invention of no-till farming, bowling balls, and a visit from little green men.

Since he comes from Hopkinsville, the first "D" we should ask about should be: can he dribble? (sarcasm)
He does look like a pretty good player.

So you don't think coaching and stability makes a difference?

Mevlin Goins wasn't great but he also played for 3 different schools and I'm guessing community college/Ball State don't offer the best coaches.

Playing 4 years in the same system with a good coach might have made Goins a better play. Whose to say?

i agree with you....stability and a consistent fundamentals coach coulda done wonders for Goins.

No worries. I sure hope CJ cones through, or we can sign a decent pg this cycle, although i like Golden's potential.

Would be fun watching Hickey and Jones go head to head in practice. Both quick, aggressive and fearless. Something UT has needed and lacked for years.

I wouldn't mind having this kid on board.

So would I. If Jones does make it in, it wouldn't be such a bad thing to have both these guys, but apparently Jones is 50-50 to have the grades. We don't get him, we need this kid anyway. Also, I sure hope we get a big man, too. With Hall so foul prone, and Tobias likely leaving, we're left with Maymon and Swiperboy. What a pair of back up centers.

Just watched the clips. I really like this kid. He can lead the break, and he knows how to freaking pass the ball. I'd take him over any PG we've had since CJW.

Griffith reported today that Vols are recruiting him. We need him even if Jones were to do a miracle and get in next year.

With limited scholarships available, I don't think we would pursue this young man if we were confident that Jones was going to be with us next year.

FAIL. There are plenty of scholarships available. Counting on jones in any fashion is not wise.
