My fiance and I have taken this puppy in before he was to be taking to the animal shelter. Mixed breed, seems to show a lot of boxer characteristics to me. He appears to be black, but his coat is turning a darker brown color as he gets older. It can be seen more in direct light. His name is Samson "Sammy".

Nice pup, flyfishin. Good for you and your fiancé! :good!::yes:

The photos are dated 2005? Or is that a 9?

Anyway, if you're interested, here is a link to some good tips to making the puppy's transition into home life smooth for everyone involved.

The date on my camera always seems to go back in time when the batteries die, I just never feel like setting the proper date.

Thanks for the link, the puppy is already spoiled rotten.

Beautiful Boxer Ainge!! I've had one boxer before. They are great dogs. My fiance and I are excited about our pup. He's a blast to have around.

Some of our pack of 6, lounging around the living room.

I found this little fellow in the church parking lot, sitting beside a rock wall. Someone had abandoned him. He was so small, he would fit in one of my hands. It was raining that day. I heard him crying and went to check it out. When I got close to him, he growled at me. He was soaking wet and so weak he could barely walk, but he was ready to brawl with me. I adopted him right then.

Little did I know that he would grow up to be a long eared, pointed headed hound dog.

Alas, Rock and Elizabeth are both gone. I think maybe coyotes may have eaten them. And I had spent over $1,500 at the Vet on Rock.
