Call me crazy, but I saw this pic and immediately my heart rate elevated. I'm so ready.

The Salute to the Hill was probably one of the more exciting moments for me in the Pride. Turning the corner and seeing nothing but orange gets the heart pumping.

Me too! The first time I turned the corner from Volunteer onto Andy Holt and saw all of the orange, I got chill bumps! But the best moment by far was opening the T for the very first time!

You guys ever go back and march in the Alumni Band for Homecoming??? I've not missed a year since I graduated in 1980. We should have a volnation meeting of Alumni band members!!!:dance2::dance2::dance2:

It's not a picture, but definitely gets me pumped for football. And for the record, I was holding my camera still, the noise was shaking my lens.

Actually last year was my first year! I can't march this year though so I might do the alumni band thing this year, we will have to see though. I am truly going to miss it!

Next year will be my first year as a true Alumni member. I did 4 years, 03-06, then took an extra year to graduate. I'm planning on giving it a go next year, though as a grad student, they'd better not expect any money from me.

Those pictures of the night games and that color is awesome.

As a kid and teen during the 60's you always followed the Vols on Saturdays. But I always listened to LSU on WWL at night and hear the roar of that crowd over the airways. Night games at LSU have always been a major icon of college football, but I think that a big game in Neyland with the color and crowd noise easily rivals LSU. We just do not have the tradition due to the fact that we have only been playing night games since the early 70's.

I will say that in my opinion the LSU band and student section is much more enthusiastic than our band and students which creates more noise.
