If we either side is going to rely on anecdotal claims like this, then we need to either have EVERYONE vote in person, so no military mail in ballots. Trump cannot mail in. Disabled people must appear in person, etc.

Or, in the alternative, we should come up with a way, with lots of verification, to allow people to vote electronically. You can access your tax records that way, and pay your taxes that way. You can look at your social security status that way. Certainly, there must be a way that voting could be set up to be done electronically and with confidence.

Trump cannot claim that any result unfavorable to him was caused by mail in voting fraud if in the meantime he has done nothing to allow verified electronic voting.

Then Trump has to say it: No military voting. Disabled people cannot vote.

He cannot have this both ways. He cannot decry mail in voter fraud as the reason he might lose, without any evidence it is significant in any way, but also allow mail in voting for himself and the military.

Soldiers overseas cannot vote as they will not be doing so in person at local and lawful polling places. Disabled persons unable to physically make it to a polling place will likewise be unable to vote by mail.

Four men have admitted to paying homeless people cash and cigarettes in exchange for forged signatures on ballot petitions and voter registration forms in Los Angeles' Skid Row neighborhood.

Richard Howard, Louis Thomas Wise, Christopher Joseph Williams and Nickey Demelvin were arrested in November 2018 for their participation in the voter fraud scheme during the election that year and in 2016.

The LA County District Attorney's Office on Wednesday announced that Howard, 64, and Wise, 37, pleaded no contest to one felony count each of registration of a fictitious person and subscribing a fictitious name or the name of another to an initiative petition.

The men were accused alongside five other people of soliciting hundreds of false and forged signatures in Skid Row, an impoverished area with more than 5,000 homeless people living in tents and under tarps.
