Other side of the argument....how prevalent actually is voter suppression??

A Dead-Simple Algorithm Reveals the True Toll of Voter ID Laws

Study is actually pretty good. Shows that voter registration should include correct Name/DOB/gender/address. Matching 3/4 is 99% accurate.

The problem seems then to be with the voter....garbage in, garbage out. If you don’t register correctly, then the information cannot be validated, and your vote potentially “suppressed.”

I have two government issued forms of ID. My drivers license and DOD form 1173. My name is not spelled the same way on both. The reason being when I entered the Army in 1968 a clerical error occurred and someone typed an e instead of an i. Therefore in Georgia if I submitted my valid DOD ID I could be turned away even though everything else matches.

Sure there is voter fraud.
Sure people's votes were effected by Russian interference.
I would say the ratio of effected votes from Russian interference to voter fraud is at least 1000 to 1.
Now take your estimated number of fraudulent votes, multiply it by 1000, and you'll know how many votes Trump received due to Russian interference.

Being a douche is saying you have to use a membership card at Tinker AFB or Costco to buy groceries. Or it’s citing a study by Edwin Meese Institute citing 1,100 cases of voter fraud over the last forever to see the minds of the Right that voter fraud exists

This is the problem with both sides of the argument, fraud vs suppression. There is no way to know the exact objective number on either side. Therefore, any study on either is based on some model that cannot possibly account for all variables to come up with an estimate to validate or disprove the hypothesis.

And this argument doesn’t help either....a made up number of 1000:1 Russian votes to fraudulent votes. It’s an argument based in subjectivity.

Suffice to say that suppression happens and fraudulent voting happens. Neither should and there should somehow be some common ground found to minimize (elimination would be impossible) both.

Agree 100%......except for the part about my argument not helping. It was intended solely to point out the lunacy of assigning numbers. It happens, the degree to which is unknowable. To ever say that Russian interference had no impact on the outcome is crazy. All that can be said is there is no way we will ever know how much impact Russian interference had. Same with voter suppression and to a lesser extent, fraud.

Yes I do see what you did. You still do not offer evidence of massive illegal votes being cast which is the topic of this thread.

Now, if you ask me If I can prove that voter ID laws result in massive numbers of votes are being suppressed. I CANNOT (at least right now). But I can prove that in my case if a poll watcher wants to he can by the way the law is written turn me away if I use my government issued photo ID on which my name doesn't match my registration.

You may want to start a thread and ask the Left for evidence of voter suppression.

No. So you are just making assumptions. It's moot anyway as you do have the proper ID, do you not?

I can respond to your posts when they are also not on topic for this thread. You opened the door, so to speak. When you do that anybody can walk right in with just about anything not on topic, kind of like our Honduran amigos at the border.

In Florida your ballot can be rejected if your signature doesn’t match you’re ID/voter registration. Which is crazy because there’s a good chance your signature will change from the time you turned 18, hundreds/thousands of ballots get rejected every election.

So how many fradulent votes for Hillary then? Oh wait dont answer, I already know. All of hers were legit because she didnt utilize a few facebook ads.
