"Other NCAA concerns, outlined in documents obtained by The Clarion-Ledger last month, included his father's consulting agreement with athletic shoe and apparel company Reebok, how the Sidneys paid for the operation of summer league teams, whether Sidney received excess Reebok gear, free workouts he had with a trainer in San Francisco in 2007, how Sidney paid for unofficial recruiting visits to Arizona and Texas in 2008 and a line of credit the family received in 2008.
The NCAA on Friday said the Sidneys used money from private foundations intended to support summer league basketball teams for personal gain. In its original findings, the NCAA noted that the family "did not provide specific information" to account for some $60,000 from those foundations."
that does look really bad,but not much in the way of playing time cut,so does just mean take a RS year and you only get a few games imposed as a punishment from the NCAA ? and just take the cash and it is all OK,kinda of stinks doesn't isn't it ? so I'm guessing that all the USC sanctions that are suppose to fall, won't be nothing much at all,vacate a few wins and not much else
