I would think those prepackaged deals are a bad place to start. Who knows how old they are.

It was the first time I've tried it in the pressure cooker.

Had to abort. The rocker kept getting plugged for some reason. Tossed the while thing out.

Guess I'll stick w the traditional method...

The marbling makes a big difference IMO. I've had some cuts that don't have enough fat and they end up being too tough

I've wondered the same thing. Some online articles indicate the leaner the meat the better it's supposed to be for pot roast but I don't know.

I would think those prepackaged deals are a bad place to start. Who knows how old they are.

They have expiration dates and likely countless preservatives. :)
