OK, let me start by saying I do not proclaim to be an expert in recruiting but I do follow it daily. Based on what I have read and heard from different message boards, the following is my best shot at the 2010 potential recruiting class for our Vols.

Please see attached.

Marcus Lucas?

Number 117 in rivals top 250

Down to tenn, ark, okla, missoz, and stanford.

I think with the struggles of missoz and okla, they are behind us going in the wrong direction. As for ark, we should be able to out recruit them and stanford is only listed to keep his parents happy. But like I said, this at best is a guess.

I'd take that class and run -- although I wouldn't mind seeing Riley, Shaw, Wright or Dixon in there. Nice work!

Oklahoma lost a Heisman QB, they're not going in the wrong direction.

I think your class is great and I agree with a lot of it!

I think we only sign 28 with three EE backcounted.

I think Marcus Lucas and Fulton would both really surprise me from your list but I love the rest.

On something of a side note, who do you think will gain a 5th star during the season? I know many of our guys are close, but are still at a 4 star. I know stars are not the most important thing, but they are needed because Kiffin has stated that he wants to sign the number one class.

We can sign 30 (2 back counted and 28 for this class) only 25 of the people from this class can enroll however.

Lucas is a Mizzou lock. Both his parents went their. Anybody who knows anything about the situation will tell you this.

Also, if this class worked out as you laid it out, where do you think we would rank nationally in recruiting for this class?
