Hey, GT...a lot of folks probably don't know that Waylon Jennings was supposed to be on that fatal flight. He was playing bass in Buddy's band at the time, but he and guitarist Tommy Allsup were asked to give up their seats on the small plane to Valens and The Bopper and to take the bus instead. The rest is rock 'n' roll history.
