roofers showed up @ 7am to start the reroofing of our mcmansion here in Rock Hill. Sounds like they are tearing the whole house apart. 95 year old MIL is confused as heck and her old cat is hiding somewhere in the house after throwing up his breakfast.

Gule, did you tell the roofers not until after 8? I had my roof done and no one began until after 8 A.M......The sound of hammering and all the rest of replacing a roof can drive a sane person mad....

They have done a huge amount of work already. I'm not too happy with the underlayment that the contractor sent over, it looks flimsy. The snow and ice shield that Florida now mandates for roofs is much better. We are too old to have to worry about it in the future though.

BTW...on your phone in google search type in "google translator" or voice it in....
once the page opens you can insert the text (by voice or typing) into one box and it will convert it for your spanish speaking workers in the lower box.

You can convert to over 200 languages...very useful for world travelers or to talk t o non-english speaking people

His people must be devastated.

I once had a half Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, half Poodle named Ellie who was probably the sweetest, cutest, most purely joyous thing that ever happened in my life. It has been several years since she passed but not a day has gone by that I haven't thought of her. She was absolutely brilliant. Gosh, I was so lucky to have had such a being in my life.
