Saw this. Good news here.

Butch: Only one INT today. On a tipped ball. Great play on back end.

I am beginning to believe more and more that Jalen Hurd could have a North like impact and hopefully some runs that we compare to "the catch"

It's going to be hard to tell who gets the nod at QB but it still seems Butch favors Worley's time in the program and maturity at this point. Peterman seems to really be performing well though. Maybe one day we will hear how much of a role injuries played in Dobb's getting playing time last year.

I'm calling for Ethan Wolf to have a really big impact this year also. He may at times get eaten alive buy the SEC speed D Ends, but he's going to add a dimension and make some plays that are going to have a big impact I think.

Peterman: Game is more fun for me right now. I told myself going into camp that I had to do that, and I have.

Ryan Callahan said TKjr slipped on the wet field this morning and tweaked his knee. Says it doesn't appear to be serious, though.

JONES: I liked our approach, I liked our mindset. pic.twitter.com/4cERtzdLO1

JONES: It's going to be a great evaluation for our coaches to see who's game-ready

JONES: Effort can make you right when you're wrong and our younger players are struggling with that.

JONES: We can't control how young we are, but we can control how we execute.

JONES: I saw marked improvement in the quarterback game. I saw them manage the offense.

JONES: I thought all three quarterbacks took a step tonight.

JONES: you play the way you practice and we have some young guys still figuring that out.

JONES: One thing about tonight is developing football endurance. Our line has to be ready to play 8-9 plays without a break.

JONES: Barnett continues to show up for our football team. He's the one that's really standing out.

JONES: Jalen Hurd continues to get better and better at TE.

JONES: Every play, every snap was a teaching moment tonight.

JONES: We have competition at every position and that's really helping us.

JONES: Dillion Bates is another one of those guys that keeps better and better.

JONES: Nathan Peterman took some important steps forward. Justin Worley continues to get better.

Did anyone else catch that Hurd got better at TE? Nice slip Mr sticky fingers

I tell you what. If they put this kid in a game, they better have a short leash. I don't ever want to see a qb implode like that at kid last year. Terrible......the worst I've seen. Plus he is not athletic at all. I saw him in the scrimmage last year and he is awkward.

Sitting here thinking about all these guys getting praise and how excited everyone is getting for this season....then I think back to last year and how excited I was to see our Oline man handle people and take us to a 6-8 win season...

Boy O boy what hindsight changes

Grant Ramey:
Nathan Peterman led the second team offense on a 13-play, 97-yard drive that ended with a fumble on the 2-yard line. #Doh

Jalen Hurd also has five-star confidence. After tonight's scrimmage: “The future is looking really good for us."

All 3 QB,s need play loose and have some fun. That's a big part of all these overthrows and in the dirt passes. They're so tight.
