Prayers for Kevin Ware

That's one of the most gruesome injuries I've ever seen. I hope he can recover and get back on the court.

Prayers to him and his family. Hope this young man recovers quickly. Still have respect for him for being a formal Tennessee signee.

@brianhartline: Looked exactly like my leg senior year of HS... He'll come back even stronger.

@brianhartline: like the doc told me while my leg was folded in half lol... It's 100 times better to have a broken leg then a torn up knee

This gives me some hope it isn't career ending.

Mods move this if you like to a different forum if need be, but I think it's necessary to send our prayers to this young man that once wanted to be a VOL. He had a horrific knee injury today.

Hopefully with enough rehab this will be true. The only thing that gives me pause is the fact that I have friend who had his lower leg snapped in half in a motorcycle accident 5 or 6 years ago, and he still can't really run without pain. Best wishes to Ware though, that was just a freakish thing to happen, and easily the worst injury I've ever seen on a BB court.

I say send our prayers out to him for a speedy recovery just because he is a kid playing a game regardless who he chose to play for.

BTW, classy move by CBS to show the injury once or maybe twice and then not show it again. Pretty much the polar opposite of ESPN showing Marcus Lattimore's injury about 50 times while they were carting him off the field.

What's wrong with showing the injury? I don't see the difference in showing it 3 times vs 10.

Nothing wrong with showing it, and even from a couple angles for that matter. However, to continue playing it over and over during the lengthy process of getting Lattimore off the field just seemed a bit unnecessary.

Awful injury. I'll be praying for him.

I watched it once and that was enough. I'm going to skip Sportscenter to avoid seeing it again.

Perhaps. However I wasn't watching the game at the time. I saw a post on fb that there had been a bad injury. Even though I saw the entire second half I still don't know what happened, only that the young man broke his leg.

For those who haven't seen it, below is a link. You know it's a somewhat horrific injury when all the players immediately look away in shock. Make note of the players on the bench.

I saw it live and I jumped off the couch and walked away. Heard from a doctor friend that he could be back in 3-5 months. I think a year is the max it could go. If he was in Orange, it wouldn't have happened. Just Kidding....... I pray for this kid. This is prolly the worst basketball injury I have ever seen. Just hate that some jackass started a fake Twitter account.

The reaction of the players is enough.

Easily the worst injury I have ever seen. First I thought it was just an ankle. Then I saw the replay and about threw up all over my tv. Prayers for the young man.
