Prayers needed

We got dad admitted at the VA hospital in Murfreesboro TN today. Very nice place and staff was awesome. just hope they help him get off all of the medication he has taken

Hey Bj,

Start by taking authority over the illness which is what is happening

Isaiah 53:5 summary
Because he was wounded and bruised for us, we can find peace and healing in his name.

I will praise God for the next hour and then pray for him. Healing will come.

What’s his first name and where does he live I might be able to put him in touch with someone who can help.

They admitted him today at Murfreesboro and said they will get him off his meds. May take 10 days or few weeks just depends on how he responds

Praying for your dad. Throw mine into the mix as well, please, fighting lung cancer. Old coot never did get around to quitting smoking until it was too late.

That’s a good start. I am a real believer in Jesus’ healing power. I could tell you some real horrible stories that ended great because of him. Continuing prayers. Let us know

My late Uncle was there during that. There was some stuff he saw that he never described. It was more than he thought I could handle. But he did tell me he saw good friends and little kids killed. And that is something heavy to carry around. Might be something similar, or even worse in your Dad's case.

You all got my prayers, but while we are praying, find him some counseling. Whatever he is carrying, it's been with him way too long. He needs help coming to terms and to lay that burden down. Tell him even people he has never even met want him to be well and happy.

Prayers up for one of our nations unsung heroes!Many vets have anxiety issues, one of the things that helps me when I'm feeling somewhat anxious is putting on headphones and enjoying listening to music. A benedryl tablet also aids taking the edge off.
Thank him for his service from all of us and know that there are many support groups other than the VA that can help him get back on track. He has many brothers and sisters in arms that have his back.

If you're in TN.. call the va campus in Nashville and keep working your way through the pipeline.

There is help available. I'm a vet, I know it's there. He can even check himself in

He has been taking different prescription drugs over the years that he has received from VA and other doctor's to help with anxiety and depression. He got addicted to some and needs to be free of all meds in his system
