I think the QB has to be a leader on the team. So if the coaching staff leaves out Worley and Dobbs from SEC media tour and today's media day, tells me a lack of confidence by the coaching staff in both QB's.

Agree. This season is really going to be difficult. Expectations are ramped up a bit because of the recruiting class. However, you just don't win with any regularity in D1 football when the overwhelming majority of your talent lies with your true freshmen. It's gonna be a difficult year IMO. We will hopefully see glimpses of a very positive future, but I hope VolNation is bracing for another rough season. I know I am.

In all seriousness, I think we have one hell of a coach. He continues to impress me and he truly gets what it's going to take to win.

As previously said about Kiffin, as previously said about Dooley. He's 5-7, nothing more, nothing less.

He still has a helluva lot to prove, I get the optimism, but I need results. If he enters year 3 with something in the ballpark of a 10-14 career record, well, year 3 better be 8-9 wins.

Football is a process. I don't think we are where we need to be. Consistency that's what we try to teach every individual on the football field. We've made those strides but still don't think we are where we need to be.

We still have no leader in the Quarterbacks. We are teaching them the process of playing Tennessee football. I'm looking for consistency.

You realize by this logic that means he can win 9 games this year and be on your hot seat, right?

Yeah I agree. If he makes a bowl game he's fine with me. If he only wins 5 I will have to look at the circumstances but still I dont give him a pass this year but we DO NOT need to run this guy out of town. Especially this soon

I believe he meant 10 wins and 14 losses, not 10-14 wins.
