Certainly better than the Derby. If not for the money lost on my Pavlovian bet on the Lukas horse, it would have been a good day.

you can make it up at the Belmont when a very similar trifecta hits. i guess i will have to see who runs.

O'Callaghan or one of the other Euros will probably bring a horse over bred simply to run at Belmont, as they often do.

The Bell is a long track so pick the horses with the stamina, I also heard the track has a very soft surface.

I think you're right hate. But I still really like the Curlin horse. He ran 3 wide the whole way! If his jockey and trainer get together and Curlin gets his mind right he will be a super horse. BTW I hit the exacta and tri. At both the Derby and Preakness.:)

Since I liked the chal, I played trifectas two ways: Curlin with Circular Quay underneath and then Hard Spun with one of the bombs underneath (the 5, I believe it was). I really did like Curlin and probably should have just put some win money on him, but hindsight....

In other news, I think Cowtown Cat is still running over there in the Derby race....

With Dominican and Scat Daddy about two strides in front of him.
