Predict how the Vols will score first/TD/score.

Plus, with Mixon going down, their DBs are no longer a strong point. They have CB Hughes who is talented, but the other CB is a redshirt FR making his FIRST start in the 2nd largest stadium in the country. Good luck with that, new CB. Whoever you're covering is scoring the first UT TD, I'm guessing.
I'm with you.

On the first play where Cal goes 8 men in the box- Ainge calls an automatic, hits the WR with a hitch like Shuler/Manning threw when Cut was last there, the WR shakes this DB, and jets to the end zone... setting up the run for the rest of the game.

Let's make sure the OL gives Ainge a second or two to throw it and let the receiver catch it. If we run a play like that and it hits in the first 15 minutes, we'll win ... maybe convincingly.

The beauty is that play comes off in less than 2 seconds. It is one of the easiest plays if your QB has the arm and accuracy to get it out there. Shuler ran it from the time he was a sophomore in high school. I can't remember him ever missing with it.

Cut used the Skinny post a lot as well. PM hit Joey Kent on that many times.

Not until he reached the Redskins and Saints.

True. I knew Heath personally and grew up in the same town. We went to the same church and I know his family very well. He was about as good a guy as you ever met and an incredible athlete.

I can remember feeling sick when he decided to leave UT early. I thought it was a huge mistake and that another year would bring him along mentally.

I've never really understood exactly what happened to him in the pros. It seems kind of similar to what Ainge had last year. He was the better talent but couldn't seem to establish himself. Maybe if he hadn't suffered the foot injury, he would've come along like Kerry Collins did. I guess we'll never know. Some things just aren't meant to be.

I hope you're wrong. I don't want to wait that long and Coker probably won't play on the first series.

I just wanted to be different, no one else had mentioned him. :p

But yeah, hopefully, he won't have a chance to that soon.

I'll predict against Cal our first score will be a field goal.
I think the first touchdown will be scored on a 30 yard run by Foster.Hopefully this happens first quarter.
Win by 10.
The first score of the game is gonna be a run from the punt formation the vols are gonna send Jim Bob Cooter in as a punter ball is snapped Jim Bob Cooter darts up the middle 59yrds breaking 4 tackles and hurdling 3 defenders and doing the "CRIP-WALK" into the endzone...get em JIM BOB COOTER

45 yard pass Ainge to Meachum, then our offense goes into a little rut ala UT/Syracuse 2001.

Fleaflicker from Ainge to Foster, hitting Ainge with a 39 yard pass as Ainge scampers untouched down the sideline into the endzone.:)
