I think after winning NCs in 2015 and 2016 , Butch will get lazy and Fat ..he will focus more on donuts and endless buffets ...2017 will be 9-3 ...coz we still have tons of good players ....2018 will be 7-5 ..butch will fire OC ....2019 will be 5-7 with new OC and his clawfense .. In 2020 we will hire Steve Sarkasian !!

Auburn and Missouri went from winning 1 SEC game last year to only losing one 1 game this year.

Alabama went from a bad team in 2007 when Saban took over to a national champion 2 years later.

A GOOD coach in the SEC can do these things. I expect no less at Tennessee for Butch Jones.

If he cant we need to quickly find someone who can. This 3-5 year "rebuilding process" crap is exactly that. Its crap.

Georgia right now is where Tennessee was in 2007-2008. Their coach is in his twilight years at Georgia and they are the next SEC team to fall. Saban will leave Bama sooner rather than later. Spurrier will retire sooner rather than later and USC will be crap again and Florida has a while before they find a good coach and win again.

WE HAVE to take advantage of this period of time in the SEC to get back on top.

I never declared it a failure. What I said was what was most likely to be the case 7 years from now. Just based purely on stats, a coach who starts his career in the SEC with a losing record (not to mention with a record duplicating what the previous, fired coach did the year before) is far more likely to have been replaced in 7 years than to have won an SEC Championship. You understand that, right?

In all seriousness, if Jones is who we thought he was they should have 3 SECCC appearances and 1 NC appearance.

Agreed! Everyone hates them and I don't get it. Yeah they make mistakes, but so what. The SEC on CBS is the best channel to watch a game.
