Let's remember that many "in the know" were saying that it really didn't look like there were any "misses" in the '19 class. Add the very solid looking '20 class and what is looking like a sure fire top 10 2021 class to the mix and Tennessee is really starting to climb the ladder talent wise.

I’m watching:
TID
Mims
Mondon
Zachary
Orr
Parker
Green
Charles
Colzie
Bryant
Brooks
Arnold

I expect us to take 5-7 of these guys, and drop 1-3 of current commits.

Drop
-Jay Jones (South Alabama)
-Edwin White (Ole Miss)
-Darrell Jackson (Miami)

Add
-Nyland Green (next commit)
-Rod Orr
-Amarius Mims
-Smael Mondon (Early Signing day pickup)
-Tywone Malone (NSD/AA game pickup)

Blueshirt
-Elijah Howard

4-Star composite bumps
-Roc Taylor
-Miles Campbell
-Tiyon Evans

Probable drops to 3:
-Julian Nixon (247 already plummeted him)

Likely a finish around 5-6 with a .92 average

I think Jackson sticks. And i think we add TID. I agree with everything else, would put us at 28 signees, 292.39 numerical score which has been good for 3-5th when the ink is dry the last 5 years. This type of finish would be a dream

LSU, Alabama and Ohio State will all be above 300. Depending on Clemson/Georgia it’ll probably be good for 4th or 5th

I just want it to be a higher ranked numerical than Butch ever had (284) and we can see what a class that good looks like when they’re developed and coached well

Butch never had a class composite average of above .895 either. That's more important and teams will want to try to be around .90 to succeed imo

One of Butchs classes ranked so high because it had like 32 signees
It was good enough to be rated the same (4th) with just 27 players. The extra few players hardly count. Legit class, poorly developed.

Add:
Gooch
Parker
Mims
Orr
TID
Green
Malone

Asked to look around:
Edwin White
Jay Jones
Colby Smith

Leaves us with:
QB: Salter
RB: Brown, Evans, Wright
TE: Wolfe, Campbell
WR: Mosley, Nixon, Merrill, Taylor
OL: Mims, Orr, Parker, Gooch
DL: Evans, Malone, TID, Bell, Jackson, Washington
LB: Lewis, Willis, Brooks
DB: Green, Rucker, McGhee
ATH: Marley, Howard

28 commits, 292.62 numerical score, good for 3rd at best this year, 5th at worst. I think that would be an incredible finish and probably the best outcome we could ask for. Covers all of our needs evenly as well.

Would love the finish but I think Smith is staying and I think Orr is our backup plan to Mims.

Does anyone know if we have lost momentum for Mondon to Auburn?
