Oct. 27 at South Carolina L 14 - 28
Nov. 3 Troy W 35 - 17
Nov. 10 Missouri L 28 - 38
Nov. 17 at Vanderbilt L 21 - 24
Nov. 24 Kentucky W 35 - 10

Reason for the SCAR loss is they have a very good running back in Marcus Lattimore, i know he is a little banged up but they beat us with his back up last year in our house aka Wilds. And they have a guy by the name of Clowney.

Reason for the Missouri loss, If James Franklin is healthy they have a high scoring offense and well have you seen our D lately?

Reason for the Vandy loss, They will play this game like it is their super bowl especially after the locker room celebration last year. CJF will have his team ready for that game.

Bye Dooley best of luck to you. GO VOLS!:hi:

That's fairly reasonable, but with the way the team has played the past few weeks, they may struggle to beat Troy and IMO will also lose to UK. Still, there's a month for improvement left, but I'll believe it's going to happen when I see it.

1) James Franklin won't be 100% for this game.
2) Coach James Franklin will have his team ready, but we will be too.

I still think if this team makes it through October with a shred of something left emotionally and physically, we win out to go 7-5.

What from the past 3 years makes you think this is going to happen? After 3 full seasons of regularly showing up ill-prepared, it's just going to all of a sudden happen against Vandy after the season has long since been in the tank? Doubtful IMO.

We have a better chance of beating South Carolina than losing to Mizzou at home. Ill tell you that right now. Troy is better than Mizzou. Vandy won't have any home advantage against us so I think we win that one too. I see us losing a battle with USC and winning out after that.

I'll never believe anyone can beat my Vols until after they actually do it on the field.

I'll stay optomistic and say we'll Win them all including our Bowl game.

Admitting defeat before you're beaten is just plain giving up and quitting and I didn't think Vols fans were quitters.

Agree with all except Missouri. Vandy probably is a loss for the reason you've given. We should beat Missouri even with Franklin, unless the team has thrown in the towel by then.

South Carolina probably a loss, but anything can happen.
Troy is a win
Missouri could upset us but probably not.
Vandy...even though its in Nashville it is still a home game for us. We win.
UK will get the full wrath of the Tennessee.

Nobody can realistically predict how any game will play out but it's fun for some people to guess.

How many here would have predicted that floriDUHHHH would have kicked USCe by the final score that actually happened?

None of you would have.

Having watched "what's left of the missouri roster" play most of the season, I have a hard time seeing that one as a loss unless 1) everyone on missouri's team suddenly gets healthy and starts to play like the previous year or 2) the team just flat out quits after the south carolina game...possibly like doesn't even dress

....seriously here's about where they're at right now:

Missouri's been playing with Franklin pretty much hurt all season (shoulder, knee), refusing to take painkillers, and saying that the pain while playing has made him question his confidence in his own throwing ability in-game.

They've lost their starting LG, RG, and RT since the beginning of the season and have been forced down to the point of playing freshmen and a walk-on-that-earned-a-scholly on their line. Their injuries have also forced them down to their 3rd string center (& their starting CB and I think a LB has been hurt on defense)

They're pretty much at the bottom of the conference in points scored at this point, and really the only one playing well is the DT who made the "old-man football" comment (he leads or is near the top in tackles by interior linemen in-conference) and the punt-returner

Seen any of UK's other games this year?

Mmm...Mizzou would probably still beat troy (in one of those closer than it should be ones); but yes - unless UT just quits - we should beat them...similar to the sense of your first statement
