Which are the 4 teams you think make it? If I did it correctly you can hit 4 choices in the poll. I am interested how we guess what the committee does on Sunday.

If uga gets in, somebody got paid to make that call. You cannot have a 1 loss non champion get in over a 1 loss conference champion or an udefeated conference champion.
Georgia won’t get in but as I said earlier in the week, Bama was the only team that had any chance to beat them and Bama and Georgia are the two best teams.

Either one of 2 things happen:

Bama and Texas get in
They bump Texas above FSU so they can try and get a Michigan/Texas national title

Follow the $$. Sometimes logic doesn't take precedent. I'm sure Nicky is on the phone tonight pleading his case to those that might care.

What do mean follow the $$? AL will bribe their way in?
Not exactly. I was more meaning the teams that draw the biggest TV audience will matter.

Edit: Another thought - I'm sure the networks palmed planted when TCU made the matchup last year? Why? Look at how that game went - most had it turned off by the end of the first quarter.

I bet dawg vent is losing it right now. I just can't see bama over texas. Beatem on their home field. That's a plus game. Also, Texas has more $$$$ than bama.

I didn't see enough to convince me FSU was a top 4 team. Brock Glenn was 8 for 21 with 55 passing yards. And -6 rushing yards. And they have no signature wins.

The committee's responsibility is to put the 4 teams in with the best resume. Not who they personally opine would make the best match-ups or who will draw the biggest ratings.

Rodemaker would be the guy, yes.

Didn't know Brock Glenn was from Covington, TN. Cool for that kid.
Yea, since the transfer portal became a thing my interest in recruiting has dropped significantly. So I had no idea either until they mentioned it last week, but I’m glad for him as well. Hope he continues improving over the course of the next year.

Old saying, a giraffe is an example of something designed by a committee.

Which is all of the teams eligible.

Texas is a huge national brand
Michigan is a huge national brand
Florida State is a huge national brand.

Maybe the only one that’s only “a very big national brand” instead of a huge national brand is Washington…and you’d be arguing that 12–1 Alabama should be in over them?
