Florida is a lock

So that leaves 3 or 4 more?

How many SEC teams are they predicting to go the Dance?

I think it's going to determine how many SEC schools go this year.

If 3 teams are "tied" for that 4/5 place, do they look at the conference play or overall play?

There are alot of variables that play in...they will look at both overall and conference but more importantly if it comes down to two teams that have similar resumes they will look at how you have played over the last 10 games or so.

If we don't make the tourney do you think he gets a 4th year or no?

The AD main focus is football because it brings in the $$$. The AD will say they can't afford a buy out. However, under Pearl TBA sold out numerous times. On average theres 14K at home games right now. That number will drop lower as the season continues. TBA holds 22K. Figure that each person accounts for atleast $20 bucks for ticket/food/merchandise. You can't afford to keep CCM. 3 years is a fair chance. CCM runs a clean program but its all about wins and loses. If the AD is ok with winning 58% of the games and going to the NIT then just keep CCM.

Didn't Missouri beat a ranked UCLA team?

NCAA doesn't look at rankings like that, they look at RPI end of season wins. Right now we have 2 RPI wins better than their best win, which as you mentioned was UCLA.

They have a better record right?

The NCAA committee doesn't just take the teams with the most wins, surely you know that?

How would Tennessee have a better chance? Ole Miss has a better chance because they will beat us Wednesday.

I said as of today, if you wanna speculate as to what's gonna happen in the future that's a completely different topic. As of today we are ahead of Missouri, and are the 3rd team in from the SEC.

In terms of tourney resumes, right now, I'd rank the SEC:

Florida
Kentucky
Tennessee
Mizzou
Arkansas
Ole Miss
LSU
Alabama
Vanderbilt

UF and UK are locks. UT would be right on the bubble right now, but I put them over Mizzou because UT has better wins and played a much tougher schedule. Arkansas is above Ole Miss and LSU because Arkansas has some really good wins, while neither Ole Miss nor LSU has one single top fifty win. Ole Miss above LSU because Ole Miss has fared better away from home (they have extremely similar resumes to this point otherwise). Alabama and Vanderbilt are extreme longshots, but I included both because it's within the realm of possibility that either could go on a run and put themselves on the bubble. Hypothetically, if Alabama goes 9-3 the rest of the way, their RPI would be about 48, and their SOS projects to 5.

In reality three teams will probably get in. Maybe four. I'm not going to try to predict who does get in, because the SEC has been a gigantic cluster***** so far this season.

We have one win better than Mizzous' best win; UVA is 23 and UCLA is 25, if you use RealTime's RPI rankings. Using ESPN's, UCLA is ahead of UVA. I'm assuming you might have been throwing Xavier in there.

BTO, I'll admit that I look into the future and thats what I'm basing my prediction on. Im not trying to rattle any feathers. The reason I don't see this team going is because they don't have the "it " factor. It doesn't hurt inside when they lose. They haven't moved on from the A&M game. Honestly, I still think losing the first game against Xavier set the tone of the season. Judging by the gator game I think the players have quit on CCM. The team didn't have an off game, they didn't give a sh*t about it. That game was embarrassing. Sadly, I get to see Marshall Henderson do the "landshark" and embarrass us on Wednesday. I think Ole Miss wins by 12.

If Ole Miss beats us you'll see a much different tone from me
