Preds playoffs

I think the most frustrating is watching our pace/play from 5 minutes left until the end. At what point can we actually press? We had about 3 straight "possesions" where we would dump and stand (chase). I remember with about 6-7 minutes left seeing Colin Wilson dump it in and split two Canucks like a bullet. He battles along the boards, no other white shirts around, all getting a change. They inevitably win the 2-1 battle and proceed to kill another valuable 20-30 seconds.

I would have rather watched us throw just throw the puck towards the net and 4 guys go in reckless, than dump it and pass it laterally for 2 minutes, only to shoot from the point right into a guys legs. *Or Erat decide to figure skate one of his pretty circles.

Just some frustration, but I am veery proud Coach Trotz and our guys proved me wrong. I had thought for years that Trotz, Horacheck, Peterson, had all met their plateau with this team. Kudos to them, I'll have my crow for lunch.

I got to attend my first playoff game this year (Ducks game 3) and remember smiling for 3 hours straight (got seats in 115 row ~H). I'm ready for next year for sure. Start a Preds thread? Doozer, wanna head that up, please sir?

Vancouver was just a better team. The Tootoo call was BS but we had plenty of chances to tie things up. Ryan Kesler was clearly the difference in the series. Who knows where this series is without him. Great season from the Preds though, I'm already looking forward to next year.

He did embellish, but it was still interference too. They should have both gotten penalties

There were some questionable calls that went Vancouver's way, no doubt. Canuck's fans would be likely to point out some questionable calls that went our way as well.

Bottom line for game 6, Preds went 0 for 4 on the power play in the 1st period. Cash in on just one of those and its a much different game. Canucks first goal was a bit fluky as it was dumped in and Suter had trouble getting it out of his skates. Kesler made a hell of a play.

I give tons of credit to Vancouver's penalty kill and overall Team Defense. They were all over the Preds pretty much all series. Kesler was unstoppable.

Great season for the Preds. Can't wait for next year.

More on Weber in the Tennessean today. Gotta love the confidence he shows in his team. This is one less thing I'll have to worry about this offseason. It also talks about Radulov some at the end. It would be interesting to see how people would react to him if he came back. I feel like most would welcome a top notch scorer back, even though most were pretty pissed when he left.

They obviously pushed it durning the playoffs with the towels and shirts. I just don't get where they think it's a good idea. They already had the horrible mustard colored third as an example of what not to do.

Steve Sullivan won't be brought back next year. Sad to see him go but he's on the back end of his career and we need all the extra money we can get for some offensive help.
