Perhaps appointing a guy with 2 draws and 8 losses in his last 10 games in charge wasn’t the strongest move?
Who else would come in for interim? They’d be crazy to step into this **** show. The interim before Frank was appointed had never even picked a team sheet before the Liverpool game. Couldn’t really get much worse.
Just need someone to hold the seat warm until they hire someone which is hopefully not until they’ve done a thorough search. No way I want whoever the new manager is to step into the team this season. Let him start fresh next season.
Frank isn’t a good manager though, definitely not arguing that. I’d like to see him stick around Chelsea but in a role more like Petr Cech held under Marina the last couple years.
Fair enough.Who else would come in for interim? They’d be crazy to step into this **** show. The interim before Frank was appointed had never even picked a team sheet before the Liverpool game. Couldn’t really get much worse.

I really thought they would have had someone lined up before they dropped the ax.Who else would come in for interim? They’d be crazy to step into this **** show. The interim before Frank was appointed had never even picked a team sheet before the Liverpool game. Couldn’t really get much worse.

I think in a perfect world they would have liked to but that’s what got them into trouble the last time. They had Tuchel fired and Potter hired in 1 day. I like that they are taking their time this go around. Could it have waited until the end of the season though? Maybe, but I think they wanted to get a head start on it before other teams enter the off season looking for a new manager too.. and it’s not a good look to be interviewing a bunch of candidates before firing Potter. Plus there is CL left even though Real Madrid is probably going to wax us.I really thought they would have had someone lined up before they dropped the ax.
My money would be on City. Hard to bet against Pep.Are City now the favorite? They only have a 5 goal lead on differential but if they win their game in hand and beat Arsenal.. they hold the edge. Assuming both win out of course.
Personally, I think Arsenal have the advantage in that they don’t have anything besides PL to worry about. City still have CL. That takes its toll if they keep winning.
