Who will be President Trump's pick for U.S. Attorney General? Who should replace Mayorkas at Homeland Security?

Lawyer in running to be Trump's AG says he wants to 'drag Democrats' bodies through the streets'

A lawyer close to president-elect Donald Trump's circle has claimed he wants to drag the 'political bodies of Democrats through the streets' following an Republican electoral win.

Mike Davis, a controversial right-wing lawyer and commentator, is reportedly on the running to serve as Trump's attorney general, as reported by Politico and the Washington Post.

'I want to drag their dead political bodies through the streets, burn them, and throw them off the wall. (Legally, politically, and financially, of course.)'

Davis, who was a clerk for supreme court justice Neil Gorsuch, had previously said: 'F**c unity... We have the votes. And they tried to kill Trump.'

Well that would be one way to kick off Project Tone Down the Rhetoric...

Ted Cruz as AG
Really? Trump ain't having any of that, IMO. Cruz acutely disparaged Trump in 2015. I may be wrong, but Trump might be uncharacteristically prudent with his choices. Needs to keep his kids out. Kushner ain't coming back for anything.

Susie Wiles, President-elect Trump’s campaign co-chair and a longtime political strategist, was among the people Trump thanked as he took the stage early Wednesday, just hours before his victory in the 2024 election was officially projected.

While the strategist typically stays in the background, she emerged last week with a post on the social platform X — her first post in nearly two years — defending Trump against comments made by billionaire Mark Cuban that the former president typically doesn’t surround himself with “strong, intelligent women.”

Wiles currently serves as Trump’s campaign co-chair alongside Chris LaCivita, though there has been some speculation that she’s seen as a favorite to be Trump’s White House chief of staff.

Described by Politico earlier this year as Trump’s “most important adviser,” Wiles has worked in politics for several decades. She’s worked for presidents, mayors, governors and members of Congress, including Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), and now Trump — in 2016 and again in 2024.

Trump has a mafia mindset where everything is business. Ted Cruz would be good for business in my opinion.
