This is true. And admirable growth on your part. You are so close to a transformational breakthrough. Some of us have always lamented that almost all corporate / business tax is passed on to consumers.

I just can’t wrap my head around why anyone wants the federal government to assume more power and control.

I do not mean to imply the Fed gov't have 100% control over states but the basic rights of the constitution do apply to every state and states do not have power to change the US Consitution. The Consitution gives every citizen right to bear arms and that is law of the land equally in every state. So I agree with Trump in equally applying that right across all state lines.

And with tariffs the importer can negotiate to lower the price or bear some the cost to keep from passing it on to the consumer. Also they can buy from another supplier not affected by the tariff.
Tariffs are useful in protecting domestic production.

Corporate taxes are instantly passed to the consumer.

The thing is Chief, I won't be in the market for a Mexican built car, but I might be in the market for an American made car.. ESPECIALLY if it cost less. Your naivete is evident in that you think they are going to be blanket tariffs. Far from it. Targeted. Surgical.

I don't think a lot of Trump voters understand how tariffs work and are in for a very nasty surprise when inflation spikes next summer.

It's literally the one job of the federal government. Forcing reciprocity of concealed carry permits is 100% within the scope of the federal government because of the 2nd amendment. It's explicitly given to them.

In reality, he ought to be forcing Constitutional carry on all the states.

The problem with your missive is that the inflation of which you are speaking is targeted. Will there be overall inflation? Probably because Puddinhead and your party have ****ed things up so badly, but that is not going to be the ultimate effect of targeted tariffs if that is in fact what happens. It is going to take decades to unwind the damage your party did to this country.

And you say that about Trump voters, which is probably true to an extent. Will you now acknowledge the stupidity of the democrat platform in their "tax the rich" and "raise the corporate tax" mantra? They are the same thing except that taxing corporations will raise ALL items. Targeted tariffs will affect selected items.

One thing for certain, tariffs on ALL Mexican imports will certainly stop one import we DON'T want.

Same here. The federal government is charged with overseeing and enforcing constitutional law, as well as providing a post office, and military protection for it's citizens. All the other crap can be cut out like the Dept. of education, the EPA, ect. One federal law enforcement agency has to be kept to enforce federal law and it should be the U.S marshals, that's it. Cut the rest loose.
