When I started watching coverage I started on ABC. Then when John King and Terry Moran started crying like little bitches and airing grievances I started flipping channels. Settled on Fox after about four flips and stayed there until the Homeristic love fest was unbearable then started surfing again. Wound back up on ABC and they had muzzled King and Moran so stayed there. It was clear they were quietly passing the tissue box around but it was much more muted. Just give us the news FFS

Meh very underwhelming inauguration speech IMO. Quick run down:

-Designating drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.
-Revoking Green New Deal, and Electric car tax rebates.
-National Energy Emergency
-DOGE, by Executive order.
-Reinstating service members who were discharged for not taking the vax.. with back pay
-Gulf of Mexico renamed Gulf of America.
-We are retaking the Panama Canal - with no details on how he will do so
-Standing up External Revenue Service to enforce tariffs
-Noticeably silent on Ukraine
-Really weird bit about sending Americans to Mars
-Nothing actionable about his long term economic plans… arguably should be in his top 3 priorities

All in all seemed highly political with little actionable points. DOGE and Southern Border are high points.

Yeah wish I had thought of that. While Fox is indeed a bunch of Homers it’s more on message for the day. Love Trump or hate him it’s HIS day and it is the most remarkable political comeback in over 130 years. So say neutral or positive things I’d say. Try to not go full Homer and lay off the crying grievances FFS you’ve got four years for that so pace yourself MSM.
