The hypothetical is irrelevant. Even Vance just last week said that those J6ers who were violent should not have received a pardon or commutation. Even here, on this very forum, it is clear to me that there are a number of Trump supporters who are bothered by this and disagree with Trump. Don't see why folks feel the need to bend over backwards to this degree to try to excuse it.

The fact that you can't see that they are looking at individual cases shows that you are not looking at it as a true independent. He said they're looking into others. Which means it's not a blanket pardon. You need to work on being a better independent.

How many were preemptive? How many were family members? How many were in jail for 4 years for trespassing? If you truly want to be objective, there were bad actors on J6 but the majority were very minor and didn't deserve the treatment they received. They were political prosecutions. He didn't do a blanket pardon. Some are still being looked at. Some were not pardoned but commuted.

Than I asked for a source so I could see the context of the quotes fully because my spidey sense were telling me something wasn't right. That is about the time he started kicking like a bronco as it became apparent he fabricated the whole thing.

There is simply no telling how bad it is. The Biden administration allowed our country to be invaded. And their ignorant supporters, including BB and others just kept parroting “Everyone is just seeking asylum!!” And then called us Bigots when we didn’t agree.

Yes, but I'm not sure how they did that in advance unless they'd solicited the lawyers representing the prisoners. I'd have pardoned all non-violent convictions and ended such prosecutions asap, which are the bulk of prisoners. Assuming the differentiation between assault (implied threat) and battery (violence) was maintained, I'd be inclined to commuting assaults, which leaves battery and firearm (or explosives) cases to be examined. All the prisoners should be interviewed and allegations of prisoner abuse investigated.

I don't support blanket pardons/commuting as some have called for. Repubs need to use some fire to fight fire, but not destroy law in the process.

Bondi must investigate the J6 committee and proceedings.

You didn't cry this much when Biden pardon convicted cop killers.

I saw a video about ivermectin that said it was a drug designed for and used on humans long before it was ever used on animals. The veterinary community was begging for it to be available for use on animals.

We used in conjunction with a few other OTC supplements, twice and early, and had very short, minor episodes with Covid.

I'm encouraged to see them hit the ground running, sort of a conservative Cloward-Piven strategy of being organized and hitting the opposition in every weak spot, keep them on their heels, and overrun their position. As they did with the campaign strategy.

So far, Trump is much better prepared and focused than 2016 or 2020.
