When I google, "oil production ranked by country"

the 'ai section' at the top plus all the links (wiki, .gov sites, and others) all list America as number 1.

Are our searches feeding us results that are different???

Your statista includes hydroelectric. China leads the world in that energy.

That is why i asked in my first reply today was trump wanting to build more dams.

American refineries aren't built to process "light sweet" petroleum. That's typically the product of shale fracking, a widespread technique.

No idea I asked if the US imports energy more then it's exports... And when using the vague term energy the answer is yes when I replace oil I get that results.. But from 2022 can't find updated... And Its not oil production... But why if we are 1 why are we even importing more? Assume because of demand... But why are we exporting oil if we have a demand just to import more.

my understanding is that we are also the number 1 country for refining oil. We import it specifically to refine and then export it across the globe.

It would seem his statement need clarification of what exactly he is wanting to be 1 in.. I thought Hog mentioned something about us not being able to refine it.. maybe it's just we can't refine the kinda of oil we export..

Agreed. That's all I am trying to gain, here. If it is a trackable pledge, I wanna add it to our thread where we are updating his promises. I want to be fair with djt in that thread but I don't know how to track something that we are already doing (possibly). And there is no way to accurately give him credit for that.

It's kinda like his "no tax on tips" that Harris adopted in her campaign. That act has already been sponsored by Ted Cruz in june of this year.

I have requested multiple times to have me company reclassify my salary to a tip. Payroll has not gotten back to me yet.

Trump’s not a detail guy. I don’t know if he envisions oil making up that gap or if he has in mind other methods. I doubt he would have an issue with more hydro.

Again, he’s talking about this as a goal in a big picture kind of way

If anyone wants to look at this pledge closely and we can grasp what DJT is saying, I'd like to put it with the other 40-50 things on the tracking list.

SS is in trouble.
Djt has promised to protect it but not fix it.
And reduced taxes on SS payouts could be trouble for seniors.
