President Trump has threatened to impose tariffs on Canada over drug trafficking, equating it with Mexico. U.S. government reports do not support the claim.

A disproportionate amount (which is an understatement) of fentanyl comes in from Mexico. It doesn't make sense to me for Trump to tariff Canada and Mexico the same, unless there is an ulterior motive behind the Canadian tariffs.
