This is a president who is attempting to take control of the executive branch, something no president has done since FDR. Nixon tried and went down in flames. Don’t disagree but bad precedence was set long ago. Bad precedence will always be present in a power grab. A successful power grab involves tearing down old structures to the root whether those structures are good or bad.

My LinkedIn is blowing up with people losing USAID contracts or their positions in the agency. I can name zero actual accomplishments any of them have made. One guy in particular has made hundreds of thousands repackaging useless heatmaps to show where young people live in other countries to help "the mission", whatever that may be. It's something that could be done by a machine at this point, if it's even necessary (it's not).

-When you bring up specifics, they start crawfishing, or defending Trump somehow. "he is just saying it, nothing will happen" type of stuff.

that is what the majority of Trump's supporters do. it just takes a lot of engagement and forcing them to admit to specifics to get them to quietly admit that maybe they don't support everything he is doing about one of the specific items.
