Encourage each state to have its farmers raise healthy, farm-fresh food to feed students, if the state wants it. Buy local, keep the money circulating around. I really don't have an answer. I know school lunch may be the only meal some kids get, a hungry child doesn't learn and that's not good for society. As for misfit parents, castrate for all I care, but for God's sake feed hungry kids.

You are free to spend your cash how you like, but generally I don't think its my responsibility to house other people's kids let alone give them benefits and incentives to have more kids they can't afford. I'm all for helping Americans first and that can always be moving target but all this other crap needs to go. If parents can't feed their kids, both parents need to be locked up just like we do dead beat dads.
