It was a terrible statement from Zelensky, a horrible misstep.

I disagree that Trump handled it well. He went full Trump, and it got wild… in the Oval Office. Nobody came off looking “good” imo.

Perhaps he didn’t, but I don’t have a problem with it. He deserved to be slapped down IMO…..I’d say the same if had been Biden

I’ve not heard the coke head remarks and I’m not considering the stolen money accusations either.
The only thing I’m talking about are the comments he made…..

He put them there by shutting down negotiations in 2022, further by not engaging in diplomacy since then....including today.

He isn't saving that country, he wants them to die.

I don’t know about him being a coke head or crooked, but he is without a doubt and impetuous idiot.

He was too dumb to understand or too proud to stomach a public facing event that was meant to draw all parties to the negotiating table to resolve the conflict that is killing boatloads of his citizens.

He went rouge and undermined the entire effort. He knew what he was supposed to be there for. If he didn’t want to play ball he shouldn’t have insisted on a public event in Washington to play games. It was an insult to the efforts being made trying to end the conflict.

Supreme stupidity. Trying to couch his behavior as some heroic effort to save his country is a huge whiff.
