I find it hilarious that Biden spoke recently about food shortages. He mentioned them being associated with the sanctions put on Russia. So unnecessary sanctions put on Russia, is going to have a profound effect on Americans. Wow I guess these sanctions are really worth it huh?

The US no longer has the power to run the world like it could a decade ago with sanctions ans SWIFT. Countries made previsions to work around those threats.

That was my thought the other day, so I looked it up just out of curiosity. It seems pretty straightforward as guidance for any number of professions - basic common sense and reason. A Harvard doctor and faculty member, of course, has his own twist on things - overthinking and over analyzing the most simple consideration; I can't imagine how much life might be improved without ivy league thinking. In the end his answer was pretty much in line with the normal thinking except Haavard thinks the decision requires a lot of research before deciding. These are the people who would screw up an anvil with a rubber hammer.

In the particular application of sex changing surgery on children - except perhaps that very very small percentage with biologically abnormal bodies - it seems that surgery which forever mutates the body in someone far short of rational thinking and logic does likely do more harm than good. I've yet to find the person who doesn't realize he/she did some really stupid stuff while growing up.
