I think both Regan and Carter tried to live pretty righteously. Obama, too. Those three had purpose and tried to manage things as best they could for the sake of the country. But Clinton and Trump are both manipulative scoundrels.

Publicly, he seems that way, hence my use of facade. Privately, not so much. And I cannot really argue the point or even provide an explanation here.

I honestly have no idea what you’re even alluding to. He was a nuke engineer and serviced in the submarine service. His work on establishing Habitat for Humanity is something that resonates with me and I’ve participated in myself. I believe he is genuine in his faith. But he was an absolute train wreck of a president.

Seems like at best 10% of the articles out match the headline. At least half the articles make me wonder if they mixed up the headline from something else or there's some huge disconnect between their words and my brain. I don't even bother anymore with the ones that talk about "new cures" for this or that. Even luther is more logical than most articles these days - and imagine these are kids who were taught journalism and communications ... allegedly.

Jimmy was a nice guy, and I honestly think he had a good heart with good intentions.....but damn.....what a disaster he was as president. As my mother said once "Poor Jimmy, he tried".
