We all saw what Biden said when a reporter asked him about Trump. He said “is that a joke?” And walked off. That was his opportunity to give Trump credit. This is how he should have responded:

“This was a joint effort and it was done this way because his administration will be the one in charge when it’s enacted. He needed to be in on it. This is an example of what we can accomplish if we work together rather than against each other “

He didn’t do that. He blew it

Possibly. He might have sent his brain into spasms trying to use it for the first time in goodness knows how many years. Think about it, for 40-50 years he's just done as he was told, didn't have to think about politics and issues, just stick to the party line and dogma. His brain might just be sore from sudden exercise.

As hog once stated this is only a delay in the direction we're headed as a country.

The funny thing is the democrat party may be closer to a version of collapse than the republican party. Remember Biden's once famous line - I have no idea if there will be a republican party in 4 years, do you? Well they did everything they could to street hustle people with threats and lawfare.

Trump won't delay anything. You don't fix a political problem by going to the extremes and ignoring the middle. Especially with Trump's policy of spend spend spend.

It cost Trump in 2020, and the Dems in 2024. The R's would have to completely change their mode of operating if they don't want the same thing to bite them in 2028.

Trump and the Rs are out to do the same thing the Ds did for the last 4 years.

The only possible way to fix our problems is to go to extremes. Trump is way to in the middle to go the extremes necessary.

I would make the distinction of what Trump actually is, is very different than what people think of "MAGA" Trump, either for or against. I would say either extreme of the political party spectrum sees Trump as pretty extreme.

I won't rule it out but with Biden and Harris we know where we were headed and it wasn't good. 10 million illegals later.
