The two party system has corrupted this country. I don't think sheep is a strong enough word for the ultra followers anymore. More like lemmings.

Just the fact that both parties hated Trump when he came in was all I needed to know. 2 years of R leadership and minimal accomplishment. These were the same pols that were happy to wine and dine with him pre inauguration.

That's the real shame; more than anything we need a permanent break from insiders and establishment approved candidates. You won't even get half the country to admit there is a swamp or establishment when all you have to do is consider who makes up the DC bureaucracies and look at the politics of NOVA, MD and of course DC itself. NOVA turned an entire red state blue with just a fraction of the state (geographically).

We keep blaming the pols and party, but we have "systemic corruption" because they set their own rules. Lobbying, insider trading, election funding, an adoring bureaucracy and on and on.
Corruption follows money and the Feds can print it at will. Basically "pork and now policy on steriods" and when you recycle the legislature and executive it does not even matter. With only 535+1 representing 330M, this is failure and gets back to the 10th amendment, which I think paramount to the success of the Republic. Throw in some hot sauce like a neglegent and propogandized media and it is "Katie bar the door"

The fundamental aspects of our system would be intact if, well I dont know how to put it but in a few words, honesty, integrity and good for not one's voting passion but for the good of the Republic.

And yet, there are wolves among the sheep who want to overturn our very foundation that has led to the most prosperous nation in the history of mankind.
