A federal judge ruled Friday that the Biden administration must revive a Trump-era immigration policy that required migrants seeking U.S. asylum at the southern border to stay in Mexico while their applications are pending after a lawsuit from Texas and Missouri that claimed the termination of the policy was illegal and harmful.

EXCLUSIVE: Feds Withdraw Nearly All Agents from West Texas Border Town

EAGLE PASS, Texas — On Friday, state authorities patrolled areas along the Rio Grande without the aid of Border Patrol agents. A Customs and Border Protection employee, speaking on the condition of anonymity, says that except for transport, they are all re-assigned to migrant processing with no actual patrol duties in or near the city.

“We’re done,” the CBP source states.

The absence of Border Patrol was noticeable at the city’s boat ramp, where several federal trucks and trailers are usually parked representing the Border Patrol Marine unit. On Friday morning, only Texas and Florida authorities were at the ramp and in the water.

Further downriver, signs are posted to guide migrants to surrender. The signs read “Sigue el Camino,” or follow the road.

I agree. I will say this, I've gotten the child tax check and I still have not cashed it. It is a tax trap. I'm considering it a down payment on my taxes. No, I did not send any Covid-19 money back. I'm not an idiot, but I think it was stupid. All we can do is vote for the best of a list of bad options many times.
