I couldn't live with myself if every statement I made to the press was to blame someone else for my own shortcomings. I've known people that flat out lied when asked a question that might make them look bad if they answered it truthfully, so they deflect and try to blame someone else. Usually they don't last long in a company once people see through their lies, but they can be a real thorn in the side until then.

On the other hand if impeachment talk doesn't generate bad feelings and give dems a leg up on the midterms, it at least keeps congressional dems busy and unable to do something even more stupid than they would normally do. Sort of like busy work for dems to keep them otherwise occupied. Granted it's iffy because dems left to their own thoughts and devices eventually always do something monumentally stupid.

I don't remember specifics but Trump was visiting a foreign head of state, and the press peppered him with questions about a problematic domestic issue having no bearing on what he and the other leader were discussing. The press had no problems with that. Anything from them was fair game with Trump. Seems like they reset the bar and it should be followed now. My real perspective is that the press should be ushered into a vacant lot in a very unhealthy environment and left to starve until they learn some damn manners.

Worse than that. I am steamed. Funny enough the so called right biased media reported it and it is not truthful until someone like Politico publishes it. Speaks to my argument with Clark last night about CNN and little ole Gateway Pundit, who probably published stories on this,

The fact that he has to read off of cards generic compliments should worry everyone who has the ability to develop independent thoughts. People like Luther and Law will claim it’s nothing but they and millions like them are the problem not the solution.
