Now you're witnessing the worst that the Dems have to offer. Which is by far the worst this country has ever seen in our lifetimes. Now you can thank the 81 million dumba$$es that voted for this moron. The not so funny thing is that that is the exact same way I and millions of others felt 4 years ago.
I said then and I will say forever, Trump was a low to which the country should have never allowed itself to sink.
Once we did, I said repeatedly that he should never be normalized.
The good thing is we know we have seen the worst the repubs. have to offer.
I don’t know about that, both those categories get pretty testy when the electricity goes out and the house starts to get cold
LOL Winning! And this. A combo effect: Joe the Fool, but probably more about electric power generation wasting a fuel better used to produce heat or drive vehicles. Competition for limited resources drives costs every day all day long - Economics 101.

I mostly agree with you but it all kind of hinges on how you define "job of the President". Policies are secondary. No, you're right. When it comes to personality Trump is worse, but when it comes to the job of President, Biden is far worse. So if you're saying the Dems can elect an even worse President than Biden, we should all be very scared.
But the Dems said hold my beer

Trump was far worse on what he did to the character of the nation. He placed the presidential seal of approval on blatant dishonesty, incivility, vindictiveness, selfishness, crudeness, etc...
I think the character of the nation was the foundation of what allowed us to achieve greatness, and this complete loss of character will be its demise.....until we start to regain it.
I believe he intentionally started a war with the media. It was part of the Bannon/Stone strategy from the very beginning. His objective was to condition his followers to believe only the positive news about him and to view any negative news as fake.I agree Trump didn't act presidential. I was disappointed by that. He was also fighting the media and the establishment for more than 4 years. He was angry about that and I understand why.

I am still flabbergasted at how successfully he accomplished that.
You could see it all happening starting the day he announced his candidacy. It was like watching a completely avoidable train wreck in slow motion.
Uh, it's not personality, it's his actions, before and after his presidency. You say "Grab them by the *" and then he is the chosen one by Jesus. Any mofo that believes he is a real leader is as dumb as the peeps that went to his college. Enjoy drankin that Kool-Aid
Yeah, I disagree. Trump being a pompous ass doesn't reflect the rest of the nation IMO. Our "allies" didn't hate Trump because he's obnoxious, they hated him because he called them out for taking advantage of us. Most world leaders are obnoxious twats. It's a common characteristic of those who see themselves as above it all. But when Trump had the "nerve" to call them out for things such as not meeting their financial obligations to NATO, that's when the world leader hate really started. And I don't think he was necessarily wrong for doing it. It's time we stopped being the world's problem solver and sending American soldiers off to die for some bull **** agenda.I mostly agree with you but it all kind of hinges on how you define "job of the President". There is nothing professional or legitimate about the current state of our news media. They stopped being journalists a long time ago. Media isn't supposed to take sides, yet they do. Media is supposed to report truth, not spin facts and draw conclusions. I don't care if we're talking about Fox or CNN, the media in this country betrayed their profession a long time ago and sold out to sensationalism. Not at all. They are far less petty and far more professional.
It is my position that Trump intentionally undermined the public's trust in legitimate news media.
It goes beyond the immorality of infidelity. Many otherwise great and significant people have failed that test.Yeah, I disagree. Trump being a pompous ass doesn't reflect the rest of the nation IMO. And truthfully, most of our Presidents have been arrogant people, but real politicians know how to mask it. Trump's character is no worse than Bill Clinton's, but Bill had charisma to mask it. I mean, what do you call committing adultery with a subordinate in the actual Oval Office? That's not "high character". Trump just didn't have a filter, and he didn't have enough common sense to stay off of Twitter. Or his ego wouldn't allow it.
Anyway, I'm more about how the country is running when a POTUS is in office, and things are a lot crappier now than they were 4 years ago. Inflation is effecting everyone. People are out of work even though there are jobs for the taking. COVID is still ravaging the nation, which was to be expected because it's a pandemic, and Presidents can't really control a virus, though many on the left expected it of Trump. Now they're still trying to blame it on Trump because they can't really get it under control either. All of that, and then there's the black eye we just took in Afghanistan because Biden didn't have enough common sense to evacuate all the American civilians before withdrawing the troops. But some are willing to ignore all this because he doesn't say mean things on Twitter. They also ignore his lack of mental acuity.
Trump is a worse human being IMO, but Biden is a worse POTUS. Biden's incompetence is going to do more to hurt this country than Trump's arrogance ever did.

The way I look at it is like this...If they could magically make the country/world be as they wished, what would it look like?
Trump envisions a world I detest. His views of mankind and the human condition are sickening.
Jimmy Carter wins using that evaluation.......by a mile.
Trump is on the exact opposite end of the continuum.

Each individual makes their own evaluation. (or at least they should)You're an admitted fan of Karl Marx. I don't think I want to live in the America you envision. I'm not convinced you are qualified to speak on what is "sickening" when you see what communism has done to countries around the globe.
