CNN sounded the alarm on President Joe Biden's tanking poll numbers Friday, describing them as "not good" and a "very bad sign" as they continue to trend in the wrong direction.

During a "New Day" segment focused on Biden's polling troubles, CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten detailed Biden's hemorrhaging support amongst all political affiliations, but specifically pointed to his massive loss of independents as the main reason his numbers are underwater.

"President Biden’s poll numbers are, to use the technical term, not good. And for Democrats there are even more troubling numbers underneath the surface," host John Berman said to begin the segment. "The numbers here, they tell a clear story."

Just read that story. The funny part is that the CNN propagandists believe that passing the socialist spending bill will give Biden a bounce in the polls.

Saule Omarova, President Joe Biden’s pick for the top banking regulator to head the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, reportedly scrubbed problematic items from her resume.

A report from the Washington Free Beacon indicated that Omarova allegedly removed references to a thesis she wrote while attending Moscow State University as a student on a scholarship named for Vladimir Lenin.

The thesis was about Karl Marx, titled “Karl Marx’s Economic Analysis and the Theory of Revolution in The Capital,” which was on a resume of hers from 2017, the Beacon stated. However, it was not on the resume the news publication reported on last month.

The report added:

Omarova, a professor at Cornell Law School, has already proved a controversial nominee. She has said she wants to “end banking as we know it” by providing bank services through the Federal Reserve rather than private banks. She has also proposed the creation of a federal agency called the National Investment Authority, which would coordinate long-term national economic strategy and infrastructure development for the United States. Omarova, who left the Soviet Union after graduating from Moscow State in 1989, has praised the Soviet Union for eliminating the gender pay gap.​

Why is this thing allowed to teach at a US university in the first place? We've had discussions here many times about leftist policy taught in schools, and the usual suspects claim it doesn't happen. Apparently it does. Just more display of the university disconnect between reality and common sense. Maybe the only thing universities should be trusted with or allowed to teach should be limited to factual matters - nothing pertaining to conjecture, supposition, or personal bias. Perhaps she's not smart enough to figure out Marx's grand scheme was a major failure.

Unemployment figures are one of the government's big statistical lies - maybe the biggest. The only reasonable measure is to subtract the under-aged and elderly from the total population and use that as the basis for the total workforce, and it would make for a horrendous unemployment rate - and probably put an end to the argument that we need migrant labor.

Dems and DC insiders in general don't count inflation (and a lot of other increases they cause ... some formerly know as a tax) as taxes.

The other mark of complete irrationality is the Dow window down in the lower right. Sure it's driven by upward fuel costs and such, but fuel costs are essentially no different from a tax whether for an individual or a business. Inflated fuel cost is as much an unrecoverable expense as a tax. In a rational world increasing fuel costs should be seen as a negative outlook indicator. This is why I say the markets are the tail wagging the dog.

I've thought for some time the perfect government data are data which have enough variables to have an either positive or negative perspective contained within the data point.

President Joe Biden turned his back on reporters and walked away as they shouted questions on Friday following his remarks on a bleak September jobs report.

Biden, speaking from the controversial set across the street from the White House, offered his signature "may God protect our troops" closing line before quickly exiting as reporters yelled questions over each other.
